IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT SEEDLINGS BOOKS: AVAILABILITY: We make every effort to keep all books in stock and to ship within five business days of receiving your order (but please be sure to allow enough “in transit” time. See SHIPPING below). NEW BOOKS: To receive email announcements when new books are added, send your name, address, and email address to Seedlings at: info@seedlings.org PAYMENT: We accept checks and money orders (U.S. funds, please), VISA, MasterCard and Discover. Purchase orders are accepted from U.S. schools, libraries, and agencies (net 30 days). PRICES: Seedlings' books are sold for approximately half of what it costs to produce them. Our heartfelt thanks goes to the generous donors and volunteers who make these low prices possible (and donations are always welcome!) GOOD NEWS ABOUT PRICES: Now all of Seedlings' UEB books are $20 or less! PRIVACY: Seedlings does not rent, sell, or exchange its mailing lists with any organization or individual, nor will we call you unless we have a question. PRODUCTION: We use computers to help transcribe our books into braille and embossers to print them. All books (except the board books) are then bound using plastic combs and covers. READING/INTEREST LEVELS: Approximate age ranges have been listed for each book, but please keep in mind that older children (and even adults) will enjoy these stories too! RETURNS: Returns must be in resalable condition and made within 30 days of the receipt of your order. Please call before returning items. Seedlings is a small nonprofit organization. If we have made an error, we will fix it right away, but it is difficult for us to bear the costs involved in other returns. SHIPPING: Our braille materials are usually shipped "Free Matter for the Blind" for no charge. However, people in the Continental US may select UPS for a charge of 15 percent ($11.00 minimum). "Free Matter" often takes 1 to 3 weeks in the US and about 4 to 8 weeks to foreign destinations, and it cannot be traced. A NOTE ABOUT THE UNIFIED ENGLISH BRAILLE (UEB) CODE: Seedlings has been working hard to transition our books from English Braille, American Edition (EBAE) to Unified English Braille (UEB). All of the books in this catalog are in UEB. The last sections contain our "big books" that are still in EBAE, which are listed on our website. Please be sure to check our website, www.seedlings.org, for updates. CATALOG SECTIONS: 1.
