I thought this book was excellent. The protagonist, Junie, is portrayed as a kindergardener with attitude. She has a humorous side and a serious side that would be appealing to children. The author's style is remarkable. The sentences are short and simple to understand. I felt sorry for Junie when she was at "Richie Nana's" house, because she was afraid to make a mess when doing anything.
