5I have read this book before, and I am sure I will read it again. This is a very good book about the hardships of slavery. A slave that works all day in the tobacco fields decides to run away. he joins the Union soldiers as a colored Yankee. I highly recommend this book for readers who would like to learn about the Civil War or people who are looking for a good read.
