5This is a great story about a little chick who wants to be a duck. Each day he longs to go into the pond. Until one day when he could resist no longer. He goes into the pond for a swim and starts to sink. He gets rescued by the little girl who lives on the farm when he shouts a sound that reminds her of the name "Frank"! She names him. She takes him into the house and calls her friends to help. They customize a wet suit. He tries to swim again, but ends up on his back! Through the eyes of the chick, we learn that it's okay to be different. Perhaps it might even save a life!
