Catherine (Cathy) Hapka has written more than one hundred books for children and adults, as a ghostwriter for series as well as original titles. She is the author of several series about horses: the original early reader series, Pony Scouts, the middle-grade series Horse Diaries, and for Disney, the teen series Wildfire, based on the TV show about horse racing.
