John Gretton “Jocko” Willink Jr. is a retired Navy SEAL officer, podcaster, author, and leadership instructor. He served in the SEAL Teams for 20 years, rising from an enlisted SEAL to become an officer. During the Iraq War, he led Task Unit Bruiser, which became the most decorated Special Operations Unit. Willink is a recipient of the Silver Star and the Bronze Star. After retiring from the Navy, Willink co-founded Echelon Front, a leadership consulting firm.
