Neil Richard MacKinnon Gaiman is an English author who has written novels, comic books, screenplays, audio theater, and short fiction. His work includes the Sandman graphic novel series and the bestselling novels American Gods, Coraline, Neverwhere, and Stardust. Many of his books have been adapted for film, television, and radio. Gaiman is credited with reinventing comics with his Sandman series.
