At the age of nine, ZuZu Sampson faced a challenge: he could not find Braille books featuring certain characters. Frustrated by the lack of options and compounded by his visual impairment, he took the initiative to write and publish his own books. By the end of that school year, ZuZu had completed a Braille manuscript titled Braille Boy.
