Eye Am Books are designed with accessibility from the start. The dark backgrounds and bold single colors are beneficial for children with low vision as well as children with cortical visual impairment (CVI). Less cluttered pages and images is another consideration we offer for children with low vision or CVI. Bubble text is especially helpful to highlight key vocabulary words and concepts for your child.
These books are great for babies too, as they are captivated by high-contrast images as they start to recognize colors and shapes. Each book includes ways to further adapt your child’s literacy experiences with story box ideas, sensory bin ideas and activities and expanded core curriculum concepts to include in your daily routine.
